Winky Lux Experience

For those of you who are not familiar with Winky Lux, it is a Luxury Cosmetic Brand based in NYC. The Winky Lux Experience is a pop-up store that features 9 transportive rooms, each inspired by a different product. This Experience costs $10 and you get 15 minutes to explore and take as many pictures as your heart desires. When your experience is complete, you then get a $10 voucher to spend on any of the products in the store. As of now, the Atlanta location will be there until March 2019. I went to the Atlanta Location, but for those of you who don't live close to the south there are also Winky Lux Experiences in NYC and Chicago.

As a fashion retail student, I find immersive experiences so intriguing and important in today’s internet obsessed world. They seem to be the most effective way to get customers and traffic into retail stores. From a consumer perspective, I am always excited to find inspiration for content. Visuals and windows are what draw me into a store. As a fashion student, I found this marketing concept completely genius. I saw lots of pictures online before I went in, but I was unaware that each room was inspired by a product. Each room had a mirror, display, and description of the product in that room. I went into the store knowing nothing about the brand and left with such a great understanding of Winky Lux and the products they offer.
